RECITAL PROGRAM

Director's Note
Just over a year ago, we stepped into this studio with big dreams, nervous excitement, and a deep love for dance. What we could never have fully imagined was how quickly this community would become such an important part of our lives.
This season has been filled with growth, change, challenges, long nights, huge accomplishments, and so many beautiful moments in between. Through it all, our dancers and families have become woven into the fabric of our story in ways that are difficult to put into words. Somewhere between rehearsals, competitions, costume changes, recital prep, pep talks, studio laughs, and yes, late-night rhinestoning sessions by our incredible Miss Abby, this became so much more than just a dance studio.
To our dancers: thank you for trusting us, inspiring us, and reminding us every day why dance matters. Watching your confidence, artistry, musicality, and love for performance grow this year has been one of the greatest joys of our lives.
To our families: thank you for your support, your patience, your encouragement, your cheering, and for believing in what we are building together. We truly hope that in some small way, we have been able to bring a little more joy, creativity, music, and dance into your lives too.
We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Samantha from AirZone HVAC for generously donating our competitive team jackets this season — a kindness that meant so much to our dancers and studio community.
And yes… while awards and recognition are never the reason we do this, we’d be lying if we said it hasn’t been incredibly special watching adjudicators and outsiders begin to see what we’ve seen all along: the extraordinary talent, heart, work ethic, and magic that lives inside this studio.
This recital is the culmination of a season filled with hard work, growth, friendship, and unforgettable memories. Most of all, it is a celebration of every dancer, every family, every teacher, and every moment that brought us here tonight.
No matter what the future holds, we are deeply grateful for this chapter and for every family who has been part of it. We look forward to another season of growth, possibility, and of course… a whole lot more dancing.
With love and gratitude,
Mariam Al-Hasan and Khaled Abdul Rakhim
