DANCE TEAM AUDITIONS
Whether your dancer is interested in pre-competitive or ready for the full competitive team experience, auditions are a chance to be seen, encouraged, and challenged in a positive environment where potential matters.
At BHoD, this is where confidence grows, friendships form, and dancers learn what it means to shine on stage as part of something special.
Upcoming Dance Team Auditions
MAY 29 Audition
Ages 5–7
5:00PM – 5:30PM
Ages 7–9
5:30PM – 6:00PM
Ages 10+
6:00PM – 6:30PM
Auditions are designed to be positive, age-appropriate, and encouraging.
Dancers may be asked to:
- learn a short piece of choreography
- move across the floor
- show basic jumps
- demonstrate flexibility, strength, and coordination
- follow directions and apply corrections
- show their performance quality, focus, and energy
Our goal is to place dancers where they will feel challenged, supported, and set up to grow.
Come dressed to dance and ready to shine!
We recommend fitted, stretchy dancewear or athletic wear so our teachers can clearly see lines and movement. Hair should be pulled back neatly off the face, and dancers should come in bare feet, ballet slippers, or sole saver, socks in a pinch! Bring a water bottle, a positive attitude, and your best smile. ✨
What to Bring

- a positive mindset and readiness to try your best
Auditions are not just about who can already do the most. We are also looking at how dancers listen, how they pick up movement, how they carry themselves, and how ready they are for the commitment and team environment of pre-competitive or competitive dance.
We want dancers who are eager to learn, open to feedback, and excited to grow!
