BALLROOM & LATIN DANCE CLASSES

Our Ballroom & Latin Dance classes bring movement to life — from a grounded Waltz frame — focused on posture, balance, and connection to lively Cha-Cha footwork and Salsa rhythm patterns. You’ll build strength, musicality, partner connection, and the kind of confidence that shows on the dance floor.

For our Junior dancers, classes focus on introducing body awareness, basic step patterns, exciting rhythms, and the sounds of Latin and ballroom music — helping kids move with joy while learning coordination, timing, and expressive movement in a playful, supportive setting.

Ballroom and Latin Dance Classes

🟡 Juniors (6–12)

🟡 Teens (13–17)

🟡 Adults (18+)

Our Ballroom & Latin Dance classes introduce Juniors, Teens, and Adults to the fundamentals of partner dance in an engaging, age-appropriate way. Dancers learn classic Ballroom styles such as Waltz, Tango, and Foxtrot, alongside lively Latin dances like Cha-Cha, Rumba, Jive, and Salsa. Classes focus on rhythm, posture, musicality, coordination, and basic lead-and-follow concepts through structured lessons that include choreography, solo and partner work.

Junior classes emphasize movement exploration and rhythm in a fun, guided format, while Teen and Adult classes build technique, confidence, and expressive movement in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment.

We love to keep things comfortable and practical. Dancers should wear clothing that allows free movement — athletic wear, dancewear, or clothes in which you can move freely.

Footwear:

  • Ballroom or Latin dance shoes (if you have them)
  • Clean sneakers with low grip for beginners
  • Low-heeled dance shoes or character shoes for Teens & Adults
  • If all else fails, socks work too!

Ladies Latin Heels Club

🟡 Ages 18-99

Latin Heels is a beginner-friendly class where women explore movement, confidence, and style in a supportive, uplifting space. Through guided choreography, dancers learn heels technique (balance, weight placement, and posture), styling (arm lines, transitions, and expression), and musicality — how to move with the rhythm and accents of the music.

This class is where confidence starts to show up in your movement. It’s about finding your fierceness, owning your presence, and feeling strong and confident in your own skin. Expect a space where women show up for themselves, lift each other up, and leave feeling energized, and a little unstoppable.

Confidence looks good on you.

We keep this class approachable and flexible. Wear something that makes you feel confident and allows you to move freely — fitted athletic wear, dancewear, or comfortable clothes you can easily move and turn in.

Footwear options (choose what feels right for you):

  • Low to mid-heel dance shoes or character heels (recommended)
  • A sturdy heel with good support helps with balance and technique.
  • Block heels or low heels with secure straps work well for beginners
  • Clean indoor shoes or socks are absolutely fine if you’re new or easing into heels
  • Avoid stilettos, platform heels, or shoes with heavy grip or rubber soles.

You do not need to own heels to start. The most important thing is to show up, feel comfortable, and get moving — heels can come later if and when you’re ready!

Date Night & Social

🟡 Ages 18-99

Skip the usual routine and turn your Friday night into something active, fun, and genuinely memorable. Date Night & Social is a beginner-friendly Ballroom & Latin class designed to get you moving, laughing, and connecting — no experience required.

The first half of the class is instructional, where you’ll learn easy, approachable steps and lead-and-follow technique (how partners communicate through movement) across a variety of Ballroom and Latin styles. The second half opens into a relaxed social dance where you can practice, play, and enjoy the music together. It’s energetic, lighthearted, and a great way to reconnect — way better than another night on the sofa.

No partner? No problem. Come solo, meet new people, or take yourself on a date — everyone is welcome on the dance floor.

Dress comfortably and ready to move — think casual, date-night-friendly clothes that let you step, turn, and dance with ease.

Footwear options:

  • Clean indoor shoes or dance shoes
  • Low heels, character shoes, or ballroom shoes
  • Clean sneakers or flats for beginners
  • Avoid outdoor shoes or heavy rubber soles that grip the floor too much. The goal is comfort, movement, and fun — not dressing up or getting it perfect.
